The installation of TauRo-core requires the installation of the following additional components:
1. TRE, for regular expressions management. Version: > 0.7.2 [ download ]

2. Expat: Clark XML parser. Version: > 1.95.7 [ download ]

3. zlib, for compression management. Version: > 1.2.3 [ download ]

Getting started

How can you create your first collection?
To start you can try using the XML files contained in samples / XML-files.

1. Create a folder containing the XML files of your collection
> mkdir mycollection
> cp samples/XML-files/*.xml mycollection/

2. Create a folder contiaing the index of your collection
> mkdir myindex

3. Modify conf-dist/index.conf:
- basedir = absolute path of mycollection folder
- indexdir = absolute path of myindex folder
- if you don’t want specify smart-tags:
        jump_tags = { }
        soft_tags = { },
    otherwise:
        jump_tags = { tag ... }
        soft_tags = { tag1, tag2, ... }
- files = { "myfile1.xml" "myfile2.xml" "myfile3.xml" "myfile4.xml" }

4. Index your collection:
> cd trind
> ./trind ../conf-dist/index.conf



How to start up servers?

1. Modify conf-dist/ts.conf:
- basedir = absolute path of myindex folder

2. Start up the query run server
> cd ../tauro_solver/
> ./ts ../conf-dist/ts.conf
[ts] Start accepting connections on port 9879.

3. Modify conf-dist/dm.conf:
- basedir = path assoluto della cartella myindex

4. Start up the document management server
> cd ../bruchium/
./bruchium ../conf-dist/dm.conf
[bruchium] Start accepting connections on port 9880.



How to use Tauro-core in console mode?

1. Start up the TauRo-core console mode (if necessary modify console.conf):
> cd ../tauro
> ./taurotest ../conf-dist/console.conf
TS: [127.0.0.1:9879]
DM: [127.0.0.1:9880]

2. Execute queries on your collection
